Selbst davon überzeugen, beide Parteien, Radfahrer und Wanderer können sich problemlos miteinander in dem betroffenen Raum bewegen.

I moved to Innsbruck in part due to the appeal of Innsbruck as a "bike city" and I am very disappointed to see how near-sighted and negative the local population's attitude has been towards mountain biking. For a region that relies so heavily on profits from skiing to sustain itself, it would be such low hanging fruit to simply utilise the same areas and infrastructure for mountain biking outside the winter season.

Instead, I get the impression that the local population is dismissing the potential unlike the less favourable, yet more entrepreneurial regions around Tyrol which are now thriving year-round. Never have I, as a mountain biker, felt more unwelcome than in "bike city" Innsbruck. Such a pity for such a beautiful city to be so unwelcoming towards mountain bikers, a non-problematic and generally well-off population of locals and tourists alike.
