I love visiting Austria, but it is often too difficult to find a restaurant or a cafe that won't make me cough, my eyes sting, and my clothes smell like an ashtray.
Als Nichtraucher stehe ich dazu, gegen diese Belästigung aber auch Ignoranz vor gesundheitlichen Schäden etwas tun zu wollen. Und zum Schutz meiner Kinder!

I am a health care provider and see the results of smoking AND second hand smoke every day. Why is Austria so slow to recognize this health hazard and act on it?

It's unfair to the employees at establishments who have to work in a hazardous environment like this. They are forced to endure long-term health risks in order to keep their jobs.

Smoking causes cancer as does second hand smoke and it is a nuisance in public places.
We need to keep the anti-smoking laws, so there is no smoking in restaurants!!!! I can't eat when people are smoking.
