The pool is an important asset and recreational attraction to the people of tenerife, and in particular to the residents of Los Gigantes. As a consequence properly managed and maintained would provide a safe ,healthy and attractive amenity for all to enjoy.

to avoid casualties in the pool

We spend so much money on recovering people who have accidents at the sea water pool it would be cheaper and more effective to manage the pool properly. It is a very popular tourist and local attraction which should be invested in.

We have an apartment nearby and we see how dangerous it is, we saw many dangerous situations or life saving actions from the fireman, police and sometimes it wasnt successful. Therefore I believe there should be some safety actions taken to prevent such accidents.

We often witness people struggling at the natural pool. And whilst it is a fabulous asset to the area it is a danger because visitors do not understand the dangers.

I regularly swim in this pool and consider it a safe place for actual swimming (and not walking on the edge of it). It’s a very popular place for photos and I can see how irresponsible people act. I'm shocked by how neglected this place is by the authorities - all the accidents in that area could have been prevented for the small fraction of how much the rescue action cost.

Because I want to inspie changes in the community

The Natural Pool of Los Gigantes was one of the main reasons we purchased our property in Los Gigantes. We love this place dearly and feel greatly affected by the negligence of the authorities who make no effort to prevent a regular, dangerous behaviour of tourists to whom this place is a main attraction of the village. We should not be responsible for informing visitors about the potential risk or be penalized for someone else's illegal behaviour such as breaking in through a closed gate or walking around the pool instead of swimming in it. The number of preventable (expensive!) rescue actions is just countless.
