For the safety of all who travel this part of the N52 - time cannot be wasted - make this road SAFE!!
To prevent Road traffic accident endangering life
The lack of warning signs, traffic calming measures and volume of traffic on 3 junctions in particular leaves them very dangerous. The volume of traffic on the Tullamore to Kilbeggan Road is extremely high. All of the junctions are dangerous, the danger compounded by inclines/declines on the road, slight bends/curves reducing visibility. Coming from Tullamore , taking a right up the High Road with over taking traffic coming at you at High speed is terrifying. I could go on ...
Because the road is lethal. I have a full driving licence.but the number of dangerous junctions on the road fro Tullamore to Kilbeggan that are dangerous makes driving quite unpleasant. I have to drive down a very bad back road to kilbeggan because it is so difficult to take a right turn at the church. Too much speed, visibility problems and lack of road signage.
For the safety of all school kids travelling to and from the school.
My children attend Durrow N.S.
We live in Durrow..
And travelling the N52 all the time.
Changes need to happen NOW...
It is affecting our daily lives, a danger to the people of Durrow and our children
I drive this road everyday and use it for school runs and it is a death trap trying to get onto the school road or trying to get onto the kilbeggan rd from church
For the safety of school children, their teachers & all road users
For everyone using this junction and road daily,it's of such importance for the new link road to be constructed as soon as possible, before there's fatalities
Current traffic volumes make this road very unsafe for families going to school. Farmers and residents. The new by pass must go ahead.
