Ban On Deporting of Hindus and Sikhs Minorities from Afghanistan

The Hindu Community is a minority in Afghanistan. They are facing discrimination, physical attacks and prosecution due to their religious affiliation to Hinduism. As a consequence life is not safe for them anymore in Afghanistan. They have to be granted asylum in the Netherlands. Deporting them back to Afghanistan equals a death sentence!

Its was never fine and its not fine now to send any minorities back to Afghanistan . Specailly Sikh and Hindus. They dont have any protection there.please dont depot them.

Wir sind eine Minderheit der religion in Afghanistan, und haben kaum eine zukunft. Die kinder koennen nicht zu schule weill die keine muslime sind werden gehaenselt. Man findet kaum arbeit da man der Minderheit gehoert. Frauen koennen das haus nicht alleine ohne den Mann verlassen da die villeicht entfuhrt werden koennen

Die hindus und sikhs haben keine sicherheit in afghanistan und deren religion ist auch gefahrdet

Weil es nicht in Ordnung sei, ihn vor die Tür zu sehen. In Afghanistan ist die Lage momentan sehr unsicher, dort haben die Jugendliche keine Zunkunft.

Bottom line no Hindu or Sikh is safe in Afghanistan, if few nice people treat them good in Afghanistan, majority of people there harasse them , and threaten Hindu and Sikh to convert to Islam , or for randsom any many other reasons ....

I have been through the same situation, therefore I understand how stressful it is for the families involved. I was lucky to find my way out to Canada. Within my first year I was excepted as a refugee. Now I'm a Canadian citizen. Thank you Canada

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren In Afghanistan Hindus und Sikhs sind als Minderheit sie haben kaum Freiheit und rechte, ( mit Sprachnachricht, Mitbestimmungsrecht, Frei Religion recht) wenn Sie die Afghan Hindus und Sikhs aus Niederland abschieben, und denen in Afghanistan etwas zustoße oder sie werden dort umgebracht, Sie als entscheidende Personen sind verantwortlich für deren Tod. Meine Frage an Sie möchte Sie für deren Tod verantwortlich sein?

These families or any other hindu/Sikh should not be deported back to Afghanistan as they are a ethnic minority and face numerous risks. Them escaping the country has reasons, racism, assaults, access to basic human rights and living conditions. There is an entire documentary based on this still it's not widely understood I guess.

Deporation of the family should be cancelled for the following reasons: • There is a women and children (both minor) in the family. As the result, they are particularly vulnerable and faces risking their lives in Afghanistan. • Afghan Sikhs and Hindus, any significant non- Muslim minorities, are only 0.05 percent of the population in Afghanistan. Emphasising the fact that Afghanistan is still at risk and have to deal with violence and discrimination, even after the fall of the fundamentalist Taliban regime, this is the bare reality. • Based on a case - on June 24, 2012 in Netherlands, Dutch Sikh Council turned to the former Minister for Immigration, Integration and Asylum, G. Leers. Post on their request, the very next day deportation of a Sikh woman with three children was cancelled by the Netherlands Court as the court agreed upon the fact that the women and children rights would suffer on deportation. Also that this family have a women with childern, why this should not be applied to this family? • This family with their minor children have no other relatives in Afghanistan. Where would they go post their deportation? I hope you understand the despair of a young family with small children. • The rights of these children in this decision should not be neglected. As deportation of the childern would be against the Convention on the Rights of the Child 1990, and specially the Article 3 and 9 which states that in any particular decision involving any childern, the rights of a child should not be neglected. We hope that Netherland Goverment looks into the matter once again with a wider perspective and takes some humanely decisions. Thank you

Die Lage in Afghanistan ist immer noch sehr kritisch! Außerdem sind wir Hindus und Siks eine Minderheit in Afghanistan. Die Afghan akzeptieren uns einfach nicht.obwohl wir die Uhr Einwohner von Afghanistan sind.

Auch ich bin Hindu und somit eine Minderheit in Afghanistan und nicht nur dort.... Ich kann mich an meine Kindheit erinnern als meine Familie Tagtäglich angegriffen wurde. Dieses hat sich bis heute nicht verbessert im Gegenteil sogar weiter verschlechtert. Diese Menschen werden es nicht leicht haben. Es mag sein das ihnen niemand körperlich wird aber Akzeptanz wird es nicht geben.
