I am a parent of a 4 month old in an interracial relationship. I know what racial discrimination feels like and this post broke my heart . The world needs integration . It needs to respect that we are helping it through our being to try and achieve racial harmony. Also the idea of separation of our family now in my daughters youth would be trauma we would take a long time to heal . It would near destroy us .

A human being is a human being. Why all this fuss over where a person was born? We are all residents of the planet Earth, are we not? If global warming and COVID-19 teach us anything, it should be that one nation cannot fix everything by itself. Your problems are my problems, and vice versa. We’re all in this together.

Stop acting like your birthplace is your birthright, because it’s not. America has made that mistake, and our nationalism upon reaching its peak elected Donald Trump, and made us the laughingstock of the world. Are you going to learn from our mistakes, or will it take a repetition of history within your own imaginary borders, to teach you that Hitler and Trump were not the good guys?

No part of Earth will ever belong to you. You belong to Earth. And when you die, the Earth will ultimately reclaim you, just like all your ancestors before. So give up this idiotic obsession with bragging rights over something that isn’t even yours. No human is illegal.

A man trying to make a living to support his family and create a better life for himself and loved ones. What better reason to request that his deportation be revoked? A family should not be broken if it can be avoided. What will happen to his child and partner without him in their lives? Where is the humanity in Norway?

One doesn't break up a FAMILY! And especially in this time of Covid. It is not humane to stress a mother of a new born child and break up a happy family. And one doesn't deport a person in times of Covid to a place where the person cannot survive. You are responsible for this family's safety, wellbeing and future. One simply doesn't do this to human beings.
