Hi, our petition to 'save' WeCycle in Batman Park was accepted some weeks ago and the Darebin councillors all supported us in a Council meeting. Unfortunately, our premises have still been advertised as potentially available for 'commercial' users by the Property team, and interested parties need to hand in an Expression of Interest [EOI] for a lease by 22 September [see category 3 PDF on this page www.darebin.vic.gov.au/About-council/Policies-and-transparency/Council-property/Leasing-or-licensing-Council-property ]. We are doing an EOI of course and also exploring any other options. Thanks
