Healthcare staff should get proper full PPE for suspected and confirmed COVID 19 cases

UK healthcare NHS Staff are not getting proper protection when it matters. If the UK Government could afford weapons for soldiers at war zones, why can't they afford PPE for staff exposed to all medical and allied staff?
