Given the current wave of Muslim militant attacks in our country and the inability of the UK government to prevent these attacks, coupled with the UK government not providing our police with the arms to protect both themselves and the public, the public should be allowed to carry non firearm arms, to protect themselves in the event of an attack. Not allowing this is depriving the citizens of the UK with the ability to defend themselves if faced with a terrorist attack. In the USA this is protected by the second amendment, when will we be able to protect ourselves??
