Petition is addressed to: Whyalla local residents and Whyalla visitors
We, the undersigned, wholeheartedly support granting a liquor license to Draft and Drift, the new boutique liquor lounge on Patterson Street, Whyalla.
We respectfully urge existing businesses to reconsider any appeal against Draft and Drift’s liquor license.
Reason
This innovative venture aims to revitalise our historic Main Street precinct, enriching Whyalla’s nightlife for locals and tourists alike.
Draft and Drift addresses a long-standing community desire for fresh, vibrant entertainment options. By creating a dynamic social hub, it will enhance the town’s appeal, encourage foot traffic and boost local commerce.
This lounge complements existing businesses, fostering a diverse ecosystem that caters to varied tastes while showcasing Whyalla as a forward-thinking destination. Its commitment to quality and ambiance will attract visitors, supporting tourism and contributing to the economic and cultural vitality of our community.
We respectfully urge existing businesses to reconsider any appeal against Draft and Drift’s liquor license.
Lengthy and costly opposition stifles progress. Instead, we encourage existing local businesses to embrace innovation and diversify their offerings.
Competition drives progress, as seen in Port Lincoln’s Main Street, where new ventures ultimately increased sales for all. Collaboration can elevate Whyalla as a thriving regional center.
Sign below to support Draft and Drift and a vibrant future for Whyalla’s Main Street.
