These cameras are a gross invasion of privacy, huge government overreach, and there was no prior public consultation. This is part of the Agenda 21/30 surveillance and control agenda that is being hidden from the public.

These 4k cameras are a misuse of government funds, criminals often hide their faces anyways so I would have the funds support better pay for our local law enforcement officers who work very hard to keep our city safe.

The state should not be allowed to surveillance free citizens

From the studies that have been done there is no actual evidence that installing more cameras in Richmond ( or other places around the world) will lower the crime rate. What theses cameras will do is invade the privacy of the citizens of Richmond which ultimately should be protected!

City of Richmond needs to be more transparent with the implementation of this costly device , its ongoing expenses on maintenance and the ultimate crime fighting justifiable ratio . Citizens of Richmond shall have some says on the matter given such enormous budget with huge invasion of privacy ! Reject all feel of communism in the air.
