Hope is beautiful. As the existing pit is today, it diminishes the natural beauty of Hope. Depending on where you are, there is added dust, heavy vehicle traffic and noise. It brings down the desire to live in certain areas. In fact, it makes certain areas not even pleasant to walk in or visit. The pit is currently visible from the highway. Hope deserves better than an expansion of this blemish on our beauty, nature and visitor appeal.
