I am a former Hope resident who currently owns property in Hope.We lived across from the current gravel pit & the noise & destruction was problematic 35 yrs ago! Our complaints fell on deaf ears THEN. The destruction, noise & air pollution will not only destroy the peace of the surronding properties, but those in the distance, also. There is a rock face that causes an echo. Trust me, we woke up to the noise & fell asleep to the noise -for years.
