It’s important because we know the damage mining causes to ecosystems including waterways. So damaging to the environment. Guess what, we live in the environment.
Generations of family members buried in that Hope Cemetery, Born and raised in that beautiful town!
Because I grew up in Hope and my children are actively involved in the community of Hope.
Noise ,dust ,traffic
I want to continue to live an a quiet, peaceful and beautiful small town. This takes away from the three things I love the most about Hope BC.
This is important to me because in my opinion we do not need to lose more nature. We don't need increased traffic either. The after effects of this project would not be positive for our well-being and it's further distruction of our already struggling environment. I don't see this as a benefit to the community.
I am a resident and property owner of hope and I do not wish to have heavy truck traffic on our residential streets
Amount of dust, noise, traffic
This proposal in my opinion goes against the beauty’s that Hope provides. Also I believe if they want a gravel pit it should be out the municipality perimeters.
Grew up in Hope. This is egregious.
It is essential that we keep the pristine land that surrounds our town, the concern on the wildlife, the streams and lake.
Weve had trucks going through our nrighborhood last year. it was insane the noise the dust .
Because I live in Hope.
There is so much traffic as it is with dump rrucks galore. Imagine with the expansion and what this will do for the environment. I am all for progress but this is just too much
I lived in Hope my whole life and this would be determinate to our community
Directly affected by gravel pit truck traffic
Environmental impact on forestry and negative impacted on people living in Hope
Environmentally and negative impacted on people living in Hope
Environment
I don't want the natural beauty and peaceful environment of our home damaged. The increased heavy truck traffic and vacationers do not safely mix
I have family that live in Hope.
I love my town and this would be a huge increase in industrial activity which would diminish the town’s tourism appeal, cause severe damage to our roadways over time, and create noise pollution and excessive traffic.
Enviormental concerns
How can people spoil their own lovely country like this? It makes no sense and is not needed in this area. We visit family members in the beautful town of Hope to, and we see how much residents and tourists alike love the stunning environment and important wildlife habitat and ecology. Please do not allow this mine to be expanded!
I don't want to see the beauty of Hope and it's landscape being scared forever
protecting the lake for recreational use.
Because our town and our environment matter
My town
I live in Hope and I don’t what to see an addition to the pit
Because I live in this town and the extra amount of dump trucks will destroy the charm and the residential neighborhood we already have had nightmare from all the trucks coming and going for years.
