This mine would threaten the eco system and lake water, negatively affect the residential and recreational area and possibly be a danger in a slide area where rocks have already fallen

The noise in close proximity to residential will make it unbearable to the quality of life in town. The current infrastructure is not able to handle the multitude of daily trucks required for the proposed project. The proposed location of the project is in the proximity of a tourism area known for its natural peace and beauty and will single handedly destroy that side of localtourism.

Regularly visit nearby recreational property that will be negatively impacted by the noise, traffic, and dust of the pit operations.

This disrupts a quiet town, destroying residential quality of life. Expanding it also has environmental implications that are not healthy for the community as a whole.

I love the Natural state of the Kakawa Lake where I regularly spend time and go for long walks. It’s a close getaway for folks from the lower mainland and a really unique bio region that deserves respect.

The city of Hope is aiming for growth by promoting its natural beauty. A blight on the landscape of this magnitude can only be seen as a major setback in this endeavour, to say nothing of the resulting destruction of the environment.

I moved to hope to be nice and quiet I am close to the pit and it will make noise all summer long with all the interruptions of traffic just don't want it here

Because my niece is about 50 feet or less from the roadway where trucks will running up and down the mountain and the diesel, dust and noise pollution will be excessive and no doubt uncompensated, leaving her to incur damages which she should not have to pay.

It's important to me because the mine expansion will create a huge problem for my daughter who lives in the immediate area. The noise, dust, pollution and wear-and-tear on the driveway and road would be very costly as well as very stressful. It will also affect me when I visit my daughter and family there.

-the expansion of this gravel pit destroys more of the natural land, and does not benefit my community of Hope.
-increased noise and dust pollution should be prevented on this residential road.

Concerns with noise, dust pollution within residential area.
Impact on roads with increased volume of heavy equipment, dirt & rock debris left on roadways.
Residents of Hope bearing the cost to repair/ maintain infrastructure impacted by the increased heavy equipment traffic.
Environmental impact, loss of habitat for wildlife & ecosystem.
Concerns with impact on neighborhoods & residential property values, desirability of our residential area.

My parents are buried at the cemetery and I plan to be out there one day. I walk the trail behind the cemetery and the natural beauty in this area should not be further disturbed.

I've emailed MLA Tony Luck and the 2 bc gov offices. Rocks dislodged from dually truck tires are dangerous and Jalkes should be ashamed of himself for permitting this lazy behavior.

while this area was effected by pipeline construction it was over in two years this will go on much longer . More trucks ,more noise from equipment and more damage for the road.
