To Hon Barnaby Joyce MP,
 
We, the following people of the New England community, ask for your support and action in bringing an end to the escalating human crisis and horror in Gaza. We implore you to use your voice, and position of influence, in the Australian parliament to effect meaningful relief, via aid, for the families of Gaza. We need our elected representatives to exert maximum pressure on the Government of Israel to enact the following:

• An immediate and lasting ceasefire.
• Stop the blockade of Gaza and allow unfettered access to humanitarian aid.
• Allow international press unrestricted access to Gaza.

Further, we call on our Australian Government to:

• Place an arms, and arms components, embargo on Israel.
• Publicly and explicitly voice support for the International Court of Justice’s investigations into the war crimes, and genocide, perpetuated by Prime Minister Netanyahu and his government.
• Extend sanctions to include any person, or entity, complicit in ongoing breaches of International Law in Palestine.
• Vigorously promote diplomatic solutions to this crisis.

 
Barnaby, the people of New England have honoured and privileged you to be their voice, in our Australian Government. We ask that you raise it, and give life to our chorus begging for a compassionate response to the suffering of an innocent people.
 
Enough destruction.
Enough bloodshed, tears, and pain.
Enough dead, mutilated and orphaned children.
Enough horror.
Please, help stop the genocide.
