Petition addressed to: Lake Macquarie City Council

Please find attached a formal complaint and community petition regarding the
unauthorised development at 46 Silkstone Circuit, Catherine Hill Bay.

We request that Council urgently investigate this matter and take appropriate
enforcement action.
We also request to be kept informed of the outcome of this investigation and any
subsequent applications relating to this site. We ask you to sign the petition with your
name, address and signature so we can forward our objection to council.

Reason

The structure has been present for approximately five months and appears to be
used as an exhibition/display building without any known development consent. This
raises serious concerns regarding compliance with zoning, heritage controls, and the
Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979.

All building in this estate must comply with the rules which ensure sympathy with the heritage buildings This box on the headland does not comply

Because this is an absolute abuse of space. What is the reasoning if this structure & why are the locals locked out of this space.

It has no dva and does not comply with the dcp everyone else had to comply with.
That should be a community lookout area and the security fence removed

Because im a member of the community who wants to try preserve it from, dog corporations who suck and only care about money. Take the dumb building away.

It's important so that everyone has access to the area not just selected few. How can a structure be allowed to be placed there without DA concent, this is actually in breach of DA conditions.
How is this structure & fence going to restrict LMC Masterplan for CHB or is this something else that was promised but never to be delivered.
