The BMA has always represented us, as Civilian Consultants and Civilian Medical Practitioners, in collective bargaining with our employer the Ministry of Defence, over our terms of reference (our employment contracts with it) including in particular in relation to pay, and collectively we want the BMA to continue to represent us in negotiations with the Ministry of Defence and we want the Ministry of Defence to continue to recognise the BMA as our trade union.
