Friends of Charlotte is a dedicated community organization fervently committed to safeguarding the soul of Charlotte County, Virginia’s rural agricultural communities, its lands, its waters, and natural sanctity of its forests. Our mission is steadfast in its focus on preserving the integrity of our farmland, surrounding wildlife, and soil, water, and air quality; advocating for sustainable alternatives to utility-scale energy development and other initiatives not adverse to our goals; and promoting objectives that align with our rural values.
