Greetings!

We want to send a sincere 'thank you' for signing on to our comments urging Asheville to use CDBG-DR Helene recovery funding to build back greener.

We have submitted our petition comments along with 93 endorsing signatures and additional participant comments to the City of Asheville (note: signatures sent via email with addresses redacted). Our voices matter, and it's truly heartening to see so many people stand up for the climate future that we need and deserve.

While the petition has been submitted, our engagement with the City is not over. We will continue monitoring the grant process every step of the way to maintain pressure to build back greener. We also have plans to engage with City Council to make sure the climate crisis is being tackled with the urgency it requires.
