Petition addressed to: The Municipal Manager and Mayor
- Conduct an urgent review of the approval process for large-scale gatherings.
- Provide transparency on what permissions and assessments were conducted prior to authorisation.
- Ensure sufficient ablution, sanitation, and traffic management plans for future events.
- Protect residents from excessive noise and disturbances during unreasonable hours.
- Ensure that municipal infrastructure and water supply systems are not compromised by future gatherings.
- Consult affected communities before permitting events of this scale within residential areas.
We trust that the Municipality will urgently address these concerns and put measures in place to prevent a recurrence of the hardships currently experienced by residents.
Reason
Residents of the Community have been inconvenienced for 3 days .
In future the Municipality must do due diligence when letting out halls and stadiums. Assess the impact ot will have on the residents.

I am a rate payer I have lived in Morningside over 20 years. I don’t mind people exercising their faith how ever people must do that with respect and this 12 Apostolic Church is the worst I ever seen.
