Petition is addressed to: Parliament of Ghana

We, the Ghanaian people, demand that the President of the Republic of Ghana, the ministers, the military, the police and the chiefs stop galamsey activities this month. If they do not, we will begin a three-day protest involving the blocking of busy roads. The government of Ghana is failing to safeguard the country's future. All galamseyers must be arrested.

Reason

Illegal small-scale mining in Ghana is destroying the environment, causing illness, exacerbating water scarcity, and damaging farmland and crops such as cocoa.
