Petition is addressed to: Court

We, the undersigned members of the community, submit this petition to express our deep concern regarding the wrongful treatment of Ms. Katleho Mabula following the passing of her mother in March of this year.

After the death of her mother, Ms. Mabula was forcibly removed from her late mother’s home by her brother, Mafa. Despite her peaceful intentions, specifically, returning to the property only to clean the windows and cut the grass, Mafa had obtained a protection order against her. As a result of this action, Ms. Mabula was arrested on the evening of 19 November 2025, causing her further distress during an already traumatic period.

We, as residents and members of her community, firmly believe that the treatment of Ms. Mabula is unjust and unwarranted. We stand in solidarity with her and are fully committed to advocating for her rights, dignity, and fair legal treatment.

Through this petition, we respectfully request the relevant authorities to:
•Review the circumstances surrounding the protection order issued against Ms. Mabula;
•Assess the lawfulness and fairness of her removal from her late mother’s residence;
•Ensure that proper legal processes are followed and that Ms. Mabula’s rights are upheld; and
•Provide appropriate intervention to prevent further injustice.

We urge all members of the public, community leaders, and concerned citizens to sign this petition in support of justice for Ms. Katleho Mabula. Your signature is a vital step in ensuring that her case receives the attention, fairness, and compassion it deserves.

Let us stand together to protect the rights of the vulnerable and uphold justice in our community.
