O Salve a Favela foi criado baseado nessas histórias reais para conscientizar e lutar por justiça para as famílias que perderam seus entes queridos para a violência policial nas favelas.
Todos os anos objetos como guarda-chuvas, furadeiras, celulares, bíblias e muitos outros são "confundidos" com armas por policiais, ocasionando na morte de pessoas inocentes. Hoje, o Brasil é o país que mais mata pessoas pretas no mundo. A cada 23 minutos, um jovem preto morre no Brasil. 75% das vítimas de violência policial são pretos e periféricos. O Salve a Favela foi criado baseado nessas histórias reais para conscientizar e lutar por justiça para as famílias que perderam seus entes queridos para a violência policial nas favelas.
