Petition addressed to: Eurostar

Allow Pets on EuroStar

Reason

With this petition we are showing that there is demand, and economical viability for introducing a Pet friendly policy for the Eurostar service London-Paris.
A pet friendly Eurostar carriage allowing pet owners to travel with their dog or cat without affecting the quality of travel for other passengers would provide a much needed and requested service. Trains allow pets aboard either side of the Channel and also by car through Eurotunnel. But the missing link between the train systems is the 17 miles across the English Channel provided by Eurostar trains.
With the recent Bailout of the Eurostar company, we expect the CEO and the board of director, to show a much more open dialog with their stakeholders and detractors on the matter.
Furthermore, if the ethical and moral aspect of the matter doesn't represent enough ground for a positive outcomes, we urge the board of director to consider the economical feasibility of the change in policy, considering the recent increase in demand due to increase of prevalence of domestic animals.
