"Citizens for Smart Growth in St. Charles County LLC" has submitted the subject petition, consisting of 437 signatures and associated comments to; (1) the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, (2) the Missouri Dept. of Natural Resources, (3) St. Charles County Council, Development Director, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Roads & Traffic Department, and (4) City of O'Fallon Mayor, City Council, Planning and Zoning Commission, and Public Works Advisory Committee. We also requested a public hearing from the Corps of Engineers and are awaiting their response.

Thanks very much for your support of this cause and your insightful comments in opposition to this ill-conceived and unnecessary project. We will keep you informed of any public meetings on the topic. We have found that public participation at such meetings is a highly effective way of influencing elected officials and hope that you can directly participate in such.
