Many of my neighbors will be gravely impacted!
I need CVS
That CVS is in a low income neighborhood. Many there do not have transportation. Closing that CVS would create a hardship for the community.
It is vital to the Waterloo's Eastside.
CVS serves a huge population in east Waterloo and is a much needed pharmacy in that area. As an NP, my patients need this pharmacy!!
Please keep this store open in service to the common good of the neighborhood. It is an important resource.
The people in that neighborhood deserve the same access to service as everybody does. If you remove CVS from there, you are depriving a fellow human being off the dignity of a comprehensive neighborhood.
We have used this location for COVID vaccinations
We need this business in downtown Waterloo
The patients I serve as a nurse at Allen Women’s Health are mostly low-income and have transportation barriers. The potential closing of this pharmacy is a very concerning to those on the neighborhood and nearby vicinity. Please don’t deprive lower income folks of this important service in their community.
This retail pharmacy is needed at this location
Having this CVS on Waterloo's east side has been great, and we stop in often. This store is
also important as this area has been underserved in general. It seems to me that the new grocery store next door would bring more customers to you as well.
This store is easily accessible at a main cross road. I have often stopped here when running errands. This would be detrimental to the city of Waterloo if it closed!
Need in our community
We use CVS Pharmacy on Franklin Street in Waterloo,IA for all our pharmaceutical needs. We are greatly disappointed that our neighborhood pharmacy in our underserved area is closing. This will be a huge loss to our area and neighborhood.
This store is essential for the community and is a strong asset for the neighborhood.
CVS is a key location for people without transportation to be able to walk to medicine.
I provide transportation for area residents to church activities. CVS is a common stop for people needing medication and other necessities. The proposed alternatives are too far away to be practical.
This store is the only pharmacy in the downtown area and the surrounding neighborhoods. It is needed to serve this community
I shop there
Because it affects everyone in the neiborhood and we have a lot of elderly that walks there cause they have no transportation
Waterloo is working hard to keep strong community services within a population area that has a lot of transportation and food insecurity needs… closing of that CVS location would create a hardship in that downtown access area
I live in the community this is located! I get medication for me, my husband and my daughter from that location!
We are losing so many businesses in a place that was once full of life. With the Waterloo community having so many barriers, losing CVS is just another detrimental blow to our people and city.
Neighborhood resources are critical in this part of town where low income, reduced mobility, and elderly people are the largest proportion of residents.
Very to important on East side, we need to our neighbors. Do the right thing and clean up east side. Also do needs for senior in area, food and etc, property taxes.
There is a need for this store on this side of town. This a new store that hasn't been here that long. WHY would you want it close. The people need this store and the pharmacy. People, especially elders can't travel all over town for their needs. This is why Waterloo is a dying city. DO THE RIGHT THING!!
Because I get my prescriptions at CVS, they have great customer service.
Because CVS is located in urban area in which it serves low income and homeless residence of Waterloo, Iowa it’s a place that is convenient for those who don’t have transportation in order to get prescriptions and other necessities needed for essential wellness…
I live in the neighborhood and run a non profit in the neighborhood for individuals overcoming barriers to employment. CVS is a store that a majority of people in east Waterloo prefer to use. It the store I often go to. The biggest barrier we saw at the non profit One City United www.onecitycv.org/momentum in 2023 was transportation. To close this store without much notice saddens and will negatively impact many lives. I propose CVS starts to meet with community leaders to troubleshoot and collaborate on something that would serve the community members and be equally beneficial to CVS Corporation.
