My friends at Clayton, whom I've met via the Southeastern Theatre Conference, deserve their Theatre program. They are so talented and hardworking, it is extremely unfair to undermine their accomplishments by cutting their program. Throwing away the arts is NOT how you run a university. Disregarding the importance of art and those who make it is NOT how you run a better society. We ALL have to do better at valuing art EVERYWHERE and encouraging creation in all forms, ESPECIALLY for BIPOC. It starts here. Clayton State, do better.
