I am an alumni of the Theatre program at Clayton State University. Many of my classmates & friends are still in the program or have graduated. Theatre is vital as it teaches the foundations of acting, film, and history of both fields. Georgia has a booming film industry, active live theaters in Atlanta, and graduates of the program have gone on to successfully thrive in these industries and beyond. Theatre teaches discipline, dedication, creativity, builds communication skills, and teamwork. I am thankful for my time in the Theatre program and hope it can be saved for future generations.
