Petition richtet sich an: The City Council of Hannibal, Missouri

We, the undersigned residents and supporters of Hannibal, Missouri, are writing to express our deep concern over the ongoing construction delays that have severely impacted Tipsy Bricks Bar, owned by our beloved community member, Lisa Latta. 

The prolonged construction has not only disrupted the daily operations of Tipsy Bricks Bar but also affected the livelihood of Lisa and her employees. This establishment is more than just a bar; it is a vital part of our community where friends gather, events are held, and memories are made. It is a vital part of our community where John and Jane Doe can find warmth during the cold season, where those without family or loved ones can enjoy a holiday meal without spending the holiday alone. This establishment also offers a judgment-free environment where individuals facing hardships can obtain sanitary items, clothing, or food.

We urge the City Council to take immediate action to address these delays and provide support to Lisa Latta and Tipsy Bricks Bar. The following measures are requested:

1. Expedite the completion of the construction work.
2. Provide financial assistance or relief to mitigate the losses incurred due to the delays.
3. Ensure clear communication and transparency regarding the timeline and progress of the construction.

We believe that with the Council's intervention, we can save this vital community hub and support a local business owner who has given so much to our town.
