If you live or work in the City of Beaverton you probably know garbage rates recently went up including the cost of renting dumpsters. You may not know that there’s not a lot of recycling going on for things like home remodeling or school construction projects.
Regverdiging
There should be more recycling going on for construction and demolition efforts. That’s why there’s a movement to ask the Beaverton City Council to add more options to improve recycling.
Only 20% of the debris in those dumpster/drop boxes from home remodeling projects and similar things in Beaverton is currently getting recycled. More options mean more recycling.
This petition encourages the City of Beaverton to add more choices for residents and contractors to increase recycling rates in the area.
