As the ultra long thread in the McNeel Discourse Forum shows, we (the Rhino user base) have a strong need for Rhino running natively on Linux.
Please subschribe to this petition to collect the number of people interest and show McNeel this is a
relevant part in their business strategy.
Reason
Personel data protection becomes more and more important to many of us, as Microsoft steadily increases data collection. Passwords for email acounts are send with Windows 11 and Outlook to the US authorities. Win 10 does already count the key strokes and times on our keyboards.
It's time to stop this by changing to Linux and having Rhino running natively on Linux, as the update to Win 11 cannot be postponed very much longer without risking a lot of attacks on our PC systems.
