Petition is addressed to: Congress

The USA is the leading cause of climate change, largely due to our mass coal plants and their extreme pollution. Nuclear power plants are more efficient, much cleaner, and can produce massive quantities of energy compared to coal plants. Laws need to be put in place to constrict coal plants. Funds and workers need to be put towards construction of the best alternative, nuclear power plants.

Reason

In recent years (about 20 years from today) mass amounts of land in South America and Africa have become uninhabitable (Around around 5-10% in South America and almost 20% in Africa). If the USA can change the amount of pollution we produce, as we produce the most by far, we can prevent even more damage to our Earth and save the earth and mankind from climate death. If the USA alone switches majority to nuclear, it will be enough to start moving backwards and get back towards a saved environment.
