The Viva Foundation of South Africa

The Viva Foundation is a registered NPO and PBO operating at grassroots level in underprivileged communities in South Africa, offering upliftment and poverty alleviation through various programmes, initiatives and projects. Our focus is on providing quality and equality in education, the development of the arts and music, food security and preventing and responding to Gender-based Violence.

Some of the significant initiatives of the Viva Foundation are:

The Viva Township Art Project & Living Art Gallery
The Viva Choir
and in the sphere of Gender-based Violence prevention, our SAPRI - South African Prevention & Response Initiave, have won awards for innovation.

The Viva Foundation is also registered in Germany, the UK and Brazil and we are launching a branch in the Netherlands in 2026.
