Petition is addressed to: Senator Matthew Canavan Federal Parliament
The petition of the undersigned shows that in my own opinion:
That the Net Zero policy is having a harmful and unequal impact, particularly on regional and rural communities. The rapid rollout of large-scale renewable energy projects—such as industrial-scale wind and solar facilities and high-voltage transmission corridors—is proceeding without genuine community consultation, appropriate planning oversight, or fair assessment of the social, environmental, economic, and personal wellbeing impacts on local residents. These developments are causing widespread disruption, land use conflict, diminished property rights, and growing community division. Regional Australians are being asked to bear a disproportionate burden for a national emissions target that privileges ideological and foreign corporate interests over the livelihoods, land stewardship, and long-term sustainability of local communities.
Your petitioners ask that the Senate:
1. Repeal the Net Zero policy.
2. Immediately cease the approval and construction of large-scale renewable energy and transmission projects in regional and rural Australia.
3. Restore planning powers and land use decision-making to local communities and remove state-level override provisions, ensuring regional Australians are no longer subject to forced industrialisation under national climate targets.
A significant number of these developments are backed by foreign investors and billionaire entities whose primary interest is in accessing generous federal subsidies—not in contributing to long-term regional development or energy security.
Furthermore, the Net Zero policy has become a principal driver of Australia’s rising cost of living. It contributes to the dislocation of wealth, increased business costs, and energy unaffordability. In a nation that exports abundant primary energy sources such as coal, it is unacceptable that Australian families face some of the highest energy costs in the developed world—undermining their basic human rights to food security and warmth.

Not zero is not possible and politicians have to realise this. They also have to put a stop to wind and solar factories being forced onto good agricultural land. Show us some respect and listen to the people who are feeding our nation.
Wind and Solar factories are ruining productive agricultural land and creating unimaginable stress to farmers who are impacted by these ugly factories.

I have known for a while now that the climate change narrative and its subsequent effects on governmental policy are to the detriment of our natural environment and to our position in the global economy as a country that is rich in mineral resources.
I recently watched a "Topher Field" episode where he explained thoroughly the sheer amount of energy (and especially carbon) required for just the foundation of a wind turbine. He also revealed a map (that I believe is publicly available) of the collosal footprint that renewable energy would take on Australian land. And that is only the physical space occupied, not even to mention the broader environmental impact from these abominable constructions.
For further inquiry in to the legitimacy of these claims made by climate change activists and so called climate experts, I would highly recommend looking at the work of Dr Patrick Moore (co-founder of Greenpeace) for a different perspective.
