Razones.
- We oppose the 40% rate hike because it worsens the cost-of-living crisis for many struggling families
- It doesn't stop Council wasting money on non-essential projects while neglecting critical infrastructure

If council can "selloff" the water waste to Sydney Water because of their own negligence, they certainly do not need my 40% extra in rates.

This major increase will worsen the cost of living crisis in the region. The council needs to focus on essential situations like road repair and environmental conservation instead of non-essential projects. We need quality over quantity.
Can’t afford rate rises from council and what do we get out of it in anyway , Hawkesbury need to start running council as a business with business ppl in charge and stop wasting money .
We dont get our value for money. Roads are a disaster and we spend fortune d on mechanics to fix even suspensions on 4wds
Hawkesbury Council rates are already too high and are not deemed value for money. Given the current cost of living crisis, their request to increase rates is appalling. Do better with what you have HCC.

We wouldn’t need to increase the rates if the approval of housing development’s ceased as the infrastructure in the Hawkesbury to date is hopeless. Family can’t cope with the cost of living as it is, so many struggling day to day.
