We added the City of Hamilton to the petition because they are a valued partner in this project and would need to enter into a shared use agreement with the school board for this project to move forward


New petition description:

We are requesting that the former tennis courts located on school board property be revitalized into a safe and functional outdoor basketball court. The existing space has fallen into disrepair and is no longer serving the community. Converting it into a basketball court would provide a positive, accessible, and healthy outlet for local youth while making meaningful use of an otherwise abandoned area. We ask for the support of the City of Hamilton, school board and community partners to bring this project to life for the benefit of Dundas students and residents.This request is supported by the St. Augustines Boys Basketball League and the Dundas Dynamo Basketball Club
