The Anderson House is owned by the City of Kelowna and slated to be demolished. The Anderson Heritage house and tennis court should be saved with the goal to provide a familial environment as a venue for multi-function community enjoyment for generations to come.
The landmark house (2302 Abbott Street) is adjacent to Strathcona Park on Kelowna's waterfront and next to Kelowna General Hospital.
Save Anderson Place committee was formed by a group of neighbors and community members who are passionate and have come together to save the legacy of the home and property for generations so that it can be shared with others to enjoy. We envision re-purposing the home, as a familial environment for multi-function community use, comradery and goodwill.
