Allow RECONSTRUCTION of the Islamic Center of Clermont for equality

Petition addressed to: Mayor of Clermont, Florida Tim Murry

Many of those who signed the petition to not allow the “expansion” of this mosque is in my opinion a Islamphobic person. To state that this will effect “traffic” as if there isn't already traffic in that area and clermont is already being reconstructed as we speak. Newer areas to remodel the county. Many also argue that they will enforce sharia law, how can you enforce a law when you’re not in power? These muslims solely want to create a livable-safe place to practice and worship their god. Why do Christians tell us Jesus loves us but treat us this way? If you love someone, wont you respect their religion? This is beyond disrespectful to every 900 people that signed that petition.

Second, these folks has been here for 15 years and bothered NO ONE! It is only right to allow them to remodel and have a beautiful, safe place to worship. By signing this, you are solely only allowing the building and the remodel of this mosque.

Third, these muslims arent “expanding”, they are reconstructing a old, smaller place to accommodate the other muslims that live in Lake County area. No muslim ever forces anyone to become muslim, in fact, it is a sin for them to force upon a religion and the duties from it.
