The city has informed me that the study of the traffic conditions surrounding Spangler Elementary will not be conducted due to lack of funding. The federal money that was specifically allocated for the study was withdrawn.
The Milpitas city engineer’s office has issued a statement that they will be conducting a study of traffic safety surrounding Spangler Elementary. The actual study will be conducted by a third party who is contracted by the city.
