This needs to be front and center at WWC right now. WWC cannot support this genocide and ecocide and simultaneously profess to care about social and environmental justice. From the river to the sea!

I am excited to join the Warren Wilson Community but cannot in good conscience work at an institution complicit in funding the mass murder of the Palestinian people. Warren Wilson seems to stand for empathy, sustainability, revolutionary education, encouraging students to support their communities and build a better world from hope and action.

This is what accountability looks like~ knowing we can do better and setting an example of ethical investing.

As a parent of a WWC student, I am investing a lot in WWC and expect the highest standards of ethical and progressive values to be embraced by the institution

It a civil and moral imperative that we do all we can to stop the ongoing genocide in Palestine and divest from the apartheid state that has been in place for over 75 years. It is against the mission of the college to be in any way supporting the that Israeli states' occupation of Palestine. Free Palestine!

As an institution that believes in advocacy, social justice, and activism, it benefits both the College's image and overall mission to divest from companies and organizations that do not hold to the highest ethical standards.

Divest!! Free Palestine!! Stop actively funding this genocide and put your legacy on the right side of history!

It is important now more than ever to divest from the Israeli government to help disarm them. The genocide in Gaza cannot continue and Israel needs to respond to our call for a ceasefire now. No more Palestinian lives can be spared. The Palestinian people are hurting and are facing the largest catastrophe of our time. It is the responsibility of institutions like Warren Wilson and other universities to divest because those funds go towards war machines and weapons which actively are killing not only Palestinians but citizens crossed the Middle East. It should be easy for anyone to understand that funding militaries that kill innocent citizens is bad. How can you stand to be on the wrong side of history?

I want none of my money or my friends money or anyone’s financial investments being used by the people employed or in voluntary positions at Warren Wilson college to be funding the inhumane atrocities of the genocide in Palestine from the facist and militant Israeli government.

Wwc does not stand for anything it claims to if it supports isreal and is complicit in genocide.

There are children dying and Gaza no longer has universities and colleges — a privilege and an opportunity that we get with going to Wilson. It is horrifying and shameful of colleges in the United States to be funding or supporting the harm and genocide happening in Gaza and it should be addressed.

What’s happening in Gaza right now is pure evil and goes well beyond self-defense. Institution providing financial support to Israel needs to divest immediately on moral grounds to save your own integrity.

I spent 4 and a half years at Warren Wilson College. As an alumni, I am saddened to see WWC's lack of statement standing with Palestine. I Demand that WWC cease collaboration with any and all organizations which fund the genocidal state of Israel, and to publicly exclaim support for Palestinian Freedom and Liberation.

I am an avid supporter of a Free Palestine, and I want my school to divest from financially supporting genocide.

As an alumni of WWC it is important to me that the institution I attended does not fund the genocide of Palestinians.

As a former WWC student and as an proud antizionist Jew with family in Israel nothing would make happier than seeing Wilson stand on the right side of history during this vile genocidal war.

The Israel/Gaza/Hamas/Iran issue is very complicated. However, what's not complicated is the thousands of innocent Palestinian civilians dying; I don't support genocide and our school shouldn't either

The institution that I pay to go to is not allowed to use my money to build connections and relationships with a colonizer country commuting genocide. Not in my name. Free Palestine I demand that Wilson cut all ties with Israel

This is one of the defining moments of our lifetime where we're being called to live our values and hold each other accountable. It's really important that wwc continues to do everything it can to support the resistance of the Palestinian people against Israeli oppression, genocide and colonization. Please act with the urgency this moment so clearly demands.
