We need more local businesses in Downtown Superior, and Origin closing the door on respectable applicants is unacceptable. Bring businesses to Downtown!
Unreal they denied. They complain they need to change the PD for lack of interest, but clearly, there's a problem here. I support you fully!!!!
I would love to have a business like this in DTS.
This business is a wonderful contribution to our community and having it downtown will give people one great reason to go and walk around in Downtown Superior area after stopping at Kwosson. It will benefit all of the surrounding businesses if Kwosson is located there.
Support of my friend’s business
Sounds like a great business for the downtown area.
Local businesses should take top priority in acquiring a lease.
We will be living in DTS and my understanding is the retail in downtown is exactly suppose to support local/ artisanal companies like kwosson
I support small businesses and believe it helps bring communities together.
Whenever Kwosson has a booth at an event I rush to get croissants. Kwosson is a member of the Superior Chamber as am I and chamber members support chamber members.
I would love to see a locally owned bakery in downtown Superior, exactly what types of small businesses we need!
Got a baguette from them at the Winter Festival and it was one of the best I've ever had. Whatever they want to do to bring their pastry and bread to others (and me), I'll support.
Great treats and local business
It would be nice to have a bakery owned by a local resident.
Shutting out small businesses in our town is not how our community operates. We rely on these businesses to attract people and like businesses to our area to encourage growth and sustainability in our town.
Pain au Chocolat!
Kwosson makes unique baked goods and is amassing a cult following - leasing to them would drive foot traffic and social media engagement to any space!
The only nearby bakery is in Broomfield in the interlocken area and it is not in a walkable distance. Fresh bread sounds like an amazing addition to the Downtown Superior development.
As a former Superior resident, I love the town and want to see it thrive. This business is locally owned and would support the comm.
Superior needs diversity in the businesses that are available to shop. A locally owned bakery would be a welcome addition.
Mark is a valued member of OUR COMMUNITY and I want to see Superior business owners represented in Origin...that's who this town is and who the downtown development was built to promote! But I also want to see Kwosson in there because the community is already in love with its baked goods; the fan base is already built in, so I don't doubt they would see immediate business. And finally, Mark is already a tested and successful entrepreneur. He knows how to start and grow a business, which will ensure it will be around for a long time. WE NEED A BAKERY with fresh and tasty goods! I don't know why they passed on it the first time around, but this should be a no-brainer for Origin!
Fantastic pastries made locally by a hometown business. I've gotten to know Mark personally. He is a genuine, caring, individual who demonstrates his love of baking through providing exceptional pastries. In addition, he cares about his community and actively participates in local events and promotes other businesses in turn.
On a personal note, I would love to have a local bakery available as an option instead of chain businesses with mass produced food. Mark's pastries are baked fresh, and you can taste the difference. We love to see small business succeed because of the hometown feel and the uniqueness they bring to our community.
We aim to occupy commercial space in DTS and welcome him along with his delectable baked goods, aligning perfectly with our community's desires.
I would live to see a business like this one in DTS. I know that a lease has already been signed with Boulder Baked and they’re probably trying to prevent direct competition with them. But Boulder Baked does cookies…not beautiful pastries and breads. We would love to have a bakery like Kwosson in DTS!
I would love to have a bakery nearby!
We need local, small businesses in our new downtown spaces. This bakery is very popular amongst our residents and would attract residents to downtown. Also, this is different from Boulder Baked, which is primarily cookies, not breads.
This basket deserves to be downtown. They make amazing food and are local residents as well.
Mark is a fantastic baker, and his patisserie will add so much to Downtown Superior. We want Kwosson, not a chain or other boring tasteless cafe. He will bring amazing food and help bring a great vibe to Downtown.
This type of business helps to bring the community together.
Because we need a pastry and bread bakery in Superior! A cafe where we can grab a paste and coffee. This guy is trying to provide us a service and options and you’re somehow discriminating against this idea and him. Yet you bring in more Yoga studios charging $35 plus a class! We need a bakery to connect! Jeannots in Lafayette is thriving and so is Moxie in Louisville, why can’t we have something like that?
