I am tired of the Peninsula School District making decisions from a district level without taking into consideration the opinions of the teachers, parents, students & community , the ones who really matter. For years this district has been making decisions from behind the scenes that affect people’s lives without consideration or public notice, sometimes illegally. Court cases even being swept under the rug. Teachers disappear losing their jobs because of illegal actions of the district. Peninsula School District, at the district level, needs to be held accountable for their decisions and how it affects the wellbeing of our staff & students which has a huge impact on the culture at each school.
I went through this school district k-12 and have raised four of my own children in this district, with the last graduating this year. I used to be so proud of PSD and all it provided! I am saddened to see this district consistently disregarding anyone below the district office level. They remove support staff in the classrooms but hire themselves more support at the main office.

This petition is important to me because it goes far deeper than the change in admin. I am hoping this is the first of many stands the community will begin to take against PSD.
