I have Grandkids in this district that will be negatively affected by this policy. The school board is not listening to parents and teachers. It is very disrespectful considering they were elected to represent them.

kids need structure and these changes are unnecessary and shouldn't be a priority for the district considering the other issues we have

This is NOT okay, for any of us. Parents, students, teachers should have a say. The school district should NOT be able to just shuffle teachers because some of the teachers aren’t performing well. Why ruin a school that’s running very well, by removing the staff that make it that way? Teachers who aren’t performing should be fired, NOT moved to a different school to ruin that one as well!
Our teachers and principals should be allowed to have a say! THEY are the ones running these schools, alongside their staff. THEY are the ones “in the trenches” with our students, they know them and all of the families. The school board IS NOT “in the trenches.” The school board sits on their high horses making decisions without any real input from the actual people, that moves like this affect.
I do NOT stand with the school district or their decisions. I STAND AGAINST PSD in the matter of shuffling staff!

I want to express my disappointment and frustration over the recent decision to reassign principals within our schools.

This kind of sudden administrative shift may look like a strategic move on paper, but in reality, it causes real disruption for our children, our families, and the community as a whole. These principals are more than just administrators—they are leaders, role models, and sources of stability for students and staff. When that consistency is pulled out from under them without warning or community input, it sends a message that the people most affected—our students and parents—don’t matter.

Transitions like this don’t just affect school morale; they also break down the trust that families build with school leadership over time. Parents who have invested years working with a principal, who know their values, their communication style, and their commitment to our children, are left confused and upset. Students who feel safe and understood are now faced with uncertainty. These changes ripple out and affect everything from classroom culture to school-wide progress.

My granddaughter is in kindergarten at school and I feel it’s important to know who your principal is and get to see the same person in that roll everyday. Small children need that.

Principal reassignment in this manner breaks the trust between stakeholders. The superintendent"s office is not operating with transparency and our community deserves better.

Changing the leadership of the schools without input seems underhanded and sneaky. Also a complete overhaul of our schools without keeping some senior staff seems to be putting our schools to a disadvantage.

Good administrators are needed as schools for all children. We do not want our less affluent children to be lose their principal.

Student success depends on consistent leadership. Rotating leadership can disrupt school culture and academic growth, not only for students, but for teachers as well. Additionally, there is a lack of transparency with this policy undermining the trust of our community. Making decisions without the communities involvement can damage the efficiency of school function and student learning.

Rural schools are not on an even playing field with more affluent schools in the same district. There is a disparity in food insecurity, teacher experience, and parental participation. Even the playing field. Keep good faculty and principals in the schools they want to stay so that rural schools start to excel.

My grandchildren attend Minter Creek. It is important for the children to have consistent leadership to support their growth, development and safety in their school. The children feel secure and thrive within the current environment. Parents deserve to have a voice and be present with decisions that directly impact their children.

Key Peninsula is constantly losing the good teachers and leadership to gig harbor schools, we deserve to have qualified and experienced leadership that works well with our students. Stop sending all of the great staff to the “rich” areas and think about the more Rural students for a change!

Forced principal rotation only helps the schools who are underperforming while it drags down the schools that are doing well. It's just a way to rotate the lemons (principals) that are doing a bad job instead of finding principals who will do a better job.

Goodman middle school students and parents have a great connection and relationship with the original and vp. Moving them is mot in the best interest of the students.

I was a student at Minter Creek and I know how he impacted the school to see this happen is bizarre to me and one of our best principals at our school is also leaving and she has made such a impact just as he has at minter!

I feel that this rotation is a disadvantage to administrators and the kids. Kids need routine and stability and if you rotate teachers they don't get that

Certain schools in our district need stability because they don’t get it at home. Moving leadership ever 3-5 is unhealthy for these children and creates a non cohesive staff.
