The success of our small businesses is vital to our economy, and forcing them to close early will only push consumers in the way of corporate fast food chain options, which is not beneficial to our community and also way more unhealthy. This is my favorite food truck, my boyfriend and I go there all the time late night for awesome food. It’s always been safe and the most friendly environment with the best staff.

Local businesses are the backbone of any community, and Maxtro’s is one of the best. The kindest employees, the best service and most amazing food. The majority of time we get Maxtro’s is after midnight, because it’s the best business open late (and just one of the best in general)! If Maxtro’s closes early, our only late night options are chain fast food restaurants. Let our community continue to support small!

I work for Maxtros and it’s unfair that Orlando has been doing this we should be able to have the same rights as the downtown food vendors

Orlando has been keen on putting the drunkest people out on the road at 2am sharp - Instead of giving them an hour or two to decompress.... spaces created to keep people going for a little while longer before they drive can save lives.

Food trucks are helping the community all around. Helping families to earn and making a living as a business owner, while also helping families spend time together while going out experiencing different foods and cultures. Food truck experiences are the best.

This petition is important because it speaks to an important issue: the protection of small-businesses, equal justice (closing food trucks at midnight, then close corporate bars and restaurants at the same time). This idea is absurd. Get creative, oh, ye bureaucrats, or get out of the business of civil service.

I used to work 7p-7a in Orlando. I would have loved to have a safe place to stop off to wind down on the way home after a hectic night at work
