A politically neutral campus should not be hosting individuals found to be in violation of international law by the UN

Genocide advocates shouldn’t have a place on my campus. I pay thousands of dollars to this college, I deserve a say in the godawful people it invites to campus

It’s important to me as a Jew that our places of higher learning do not uplift genocide as a moral good— which is what this event does.

I do not support genocide and having 2 active-duty IDF soldiers to "DISCUSS" their role in the Palestinian Genocide is disgusting. The fact that the UNCC is allowing this is to happen is completely disturbing. Cancel this meeting!!!!

I have many friends that would be uncomfortable/ affected by IDF being on campus. I understand that UNCC funds and monetarily shows support to the IDF and I personally feel that is a contradiction to the neutrality that campuses and public places/ organizations like uncc should uphold to ensure that everyone feels comfortable and welcome.

There's no public interest or educational value bringing IDF soldiers to campus. It's just a PR campaign to whitewash genocide.

IDF killed Palestinians. Israeli torture and crimes against Palestinians began way before October 7th. If we are not allowed diversity and inclusion, why do terrorists with genocidal values get to spread their word?

By hosting IDF soldiers on Uncc campus , it poses a biased political agenda. It will make our student population feel unsafe and unheard, especially Palestinian students who are being impacted by the war.

We can not continue to allow oppressors to oppress, we must stop the spread of evil and corrupt ideologies that support the killing of innocent men women and children.

We cannot support the genocidal actions of the IDF. Indiscriminately murdering children and innocent civilians is not self defense.

I have witnessed first hand the Israeli apartheid. The IDF does indeed commit war crimes and should not be allowed to perpetuate their occupation by telling lies to the uncc community

I do not stand with the genocide of the Palestinian people as the International Court of Justice & UN has ruled. The college absolutely should not allow this to happen on campus. Especially the safety of so many Palestinian students whose families have been massacred by these men.

My wife and I are Charlotte alumni and are so disappointed to see campus resources being used towards hosting the IOF, actively committing a genocide. “Just following orders” is never excusable.

It is deeply, deeply shameful that any institution would uphold as heroes soldiers who actively participated in the genocide of Palestinian civilians, disproportionately targeting children. History will not look kindly on those who support Israel’s apartheid, colonialism and genocide, propagandist programs like this tour will not change that.

70% Palestinian deaths since Oct 7 have been women and children. Why would we give a platform to Israeli soldiers who participated in these atrocities? Furthermore groups that extol Israel’s crimes in the name of Jewish safety actually make Jews everywhere less safe. Get our names out your mouth.

For the past 17 months, the Israeli military has murdered children, pregnant women, parents, elders, and other Palestinian humans. International human rights organizations have documented the horrific torture (including abominable sexual violence) enacted by the Israeli military against thousands (!) of Palestinian children and adults. If an institution of learning offers a platform for those participating and celebrating these crimes against humanity, they become complicit by tacitly or explicitly justifying and normalizing it. NO members of the occupying Israeli military or government should be allowed to contribute to the pro-genocidal propaganda campaign on a campus or anywhere in North Carolina! As an educator, parent, Charlotte Metro resident, and American citizen, I urge you to prevent this irresponsible, unethical, and immoral "lecture" from taking place on your campus.
