I live in Fontana Neighborhood and we already have too many duplexes please no storage units!!! A park or walking paths would be more family friendly
I don’t want that nonsense in our area
I live in this neighborhood and it has drastically changed over the past year. We do not need anymore duplexes or storage units! It is overcrowding our school district and this area is two lane traffic with no plans to widen. It is becoming a safety issue!
Our property is next to this property
Directly affects the surrounding neighborhoods and de-values property. There is already a large storage facility at 37th amd Maize. That intersection is not suitable for the increased traffic due to the lack of expansion of the roadway. There are already several issues in the morning and afternoons with the increased travis on schools now north of there on 119th. The area should be designated as a park as there is no large city park anywhere in the Northwest vicinity of the city.
My family and many other families we personally know live right here around this intersection. Something better, more useful, and aesthetically pleasing needs to go here for the surrounding families’ children.
The area of 119th St. West & 29th St. North is already a high traffic area with a lot of teen drivers. Add in that 119th was not designed with wide roads to accommodate additional larger moving vehicles outside of that which it already gets. With so many houses and the new senior living facility right there, the city is inviting more crime to a reasonably lower crime area by adding such a storage facility. A facility, mind you, that IS NOT necessary in our immediate area. There is much more accessible land to place storage units on! If the city wants to do something with the and… revitalize the park area in which that plot of land was zoned for. It is a much better idea and would do more for the community and families in our area!
I do not think a storage unit is the best use of the property long term and is not good for property value of the neighborhood.
I have a field view as backyard. I don’t need other stuff ruining it.
align with the mission statement "Where community counts" and make that property a valuable community asset.
I live adjacent from this property and it will drive down property values. This lot used to be part of a park, why not keep green-space instead of money grabs by investors? This along with all of the other mutlifamily duplexes will lower property values.
I live next door. I don't want to look at storage units. This will drive down property values
I live in a nearby neighborhood and this would not be a good thing to adopt in this area.
bc a storage unit is dumb
Our property taxes are very high. Storage units would degrade our property values.
The park is something my family has looked forward to. This area could really use a nice kid friendly park
We have a daughter and another on the way and would love to have a library with a park and walking path to take our kids!
I think this land should be used for something more beneficial. If it is zoned for a park, it should be used this way. Rather than more asphalt and buildings, we need trees and green space.
Storage units are a horrible idea brought forth by a greedy developer.
Do not want theses behind me house!
