Norfolk public schools need to do better. My youngest is homeschooled because the schools are lacking. Bayview elementary has fights every week (3rd graders really???).

I am disgusted by how the system has failed not just children with disabilities but many children across the district. Teachers are rarely in the best interest of all whom they support and care for. We must give them the opportunity to success and have a voice.

It directly effects my children

I've known this little girl since she was born. She is like a granddaughter to me. Her mother is a stay at home mother. She is one of the most devoted mother's I've known and the result of that is a smart, beautiful and happy little girl. Since her mother learned of her hearing loss she has learned all that she can to learn to help her daughter as well as find her every resource available. G-d chose the right mother for this little girl. The pride of a teacher is to teach each child as they are. I want Jazzy to be safe and loved when she is away from her family.

Great teachers are needed and hard to come by. Students need someone who understands their needs.

Every child deserves to be probably educated. And it's not right or far to our kids that there education is and will suffer due to adults clicking up and acting like they are playing in the sand box or being bullies! Crossroads elementary has been so disappointing. I thought the mission was to educate the kids and help make them productive adults? Not turn the school into a building of secrets !?!?!?!

All children should be treated fairly by all teacher's & staff. If you hurt a child, you should be fired.

Because god put special people on earth and no one should be mistreated specially by people god puts in your way that need more love … u are to take care of people with disabilities not mistreat them or any child at that matter !!!

Because the children and the teacher need this and deserve this.

I want to see improvements for Noefolk Public Schools

Children should receive a safe, fun education and be able to be comfortable with their teacher. Parents should be able to go to the administration and be heard about their children because as parents WE know our children and not the administration. I also have special needs children and ultimately pulled them out of school for homeschool due to the neglect and noncompliance by staff for their IEP needs. I know some parents are not able to homeschool for a variety of reasons and they should be able to trust that their children are in a safe environment and getting the education and help they need and deserve.

I too have a deaf child and wouldn’t know what to do if she didn’t have her teachers and all the staff at Ocean lakes Elementary School. All children should have the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe and comfortable environment. What needs to be understood is that this is for the children , Not the parents or the teachers. To have a safe environment to learn is super important with children especially children with an IEP. Just take time to think about the children.

I worked for NPS for over 30 yrs & I am disgusted with what is happening to these children as well as my grand daughter!

These children need their teacher back in the classroom. The disruption from the school, the principal and the school board is causing my problems for the students.

Crossroads sucks

Its affecting people i love. And countless others that need a voice. That school is out of control.

This is my Niece, and she and her class need their teacher. They are young, and this is disrupting their education.

I believe that children's education is very important and it needs to continue for all states in the u. S our children are our future

Children should always have a safe place with safe adults! Every child has Something they’re great at and that should always be uplifted! Parents should not have to worry about adults it’s tough enough with the bullying between kids!!

Children need a good education with people who actually care about their wellbeing and future
