Too many houses have been built already that just sit empty and for sale. We don't need more building, especially when it's so rural and they want to cram so many houses in such a small property. Plus no infrastructure plan or water retention plan.
To stop the over development of Robertson county,
No rezoning, no growth
I have family members who live on Will Head Road. I have driven down it many times. I feel strongly this area cannot accommodate 14 additional homes in such a close proximity.
I've lived on that road my whole life. They are not finna drop a subdivision next to my house
We live in Will Head Rd and this rezoning will be determental tonthe area and our lifetime.
I own land from Burgess Gower to Will Head Road. I also live on Burgess Gower Road. If the land in question is developed, there will be more traffic on Burgess Gower and Will Head Road.
One lane road will not accommodate traffic for these additional houses.
The infrastructure in the whole state is failing at rapid rates. We cannot support what we already have, we do not need more. Have you not noticed the flooding in recent years? There is NOWHERE for the run off to go! We need our farm land. Stop destroying it!
I oppose the conversion to stop traffic one Will Head road.
I am tired of all the houses being built, Springfield is getting way too big and soon will be like White House or Hendersonville. Keep Springfield small!
I left Hendersonville because of overcrowding. I love Coopertown and don't want to see that happen here.
Growth just destroys. Look at the Hendersonville explain.
We moved here to be in a small town with small town values and charm. We would hate to see that change. That would cost too much in infrastructure and more people will probably over crowd schools and potentially bring more crime.
Destroying farm land when other developed areas no longer being uswd should be rejuvenated.
We’re losing way too much open space. You’ll lose what makes Robertson County special. It will look like every other town.
Too much development in our County. Over population, destroying our rural life and animal habitats.
We do not want another small town to be destroyed. More people, more traffic and more crime.
I do not wish to have high density subdivisions in our rural community
Growth for the sake of growth and profits of developers is not necessarily in the best interests of the citizenship of this community.
My family lives there, my great grandfather was Arnold Holland, he was a Chief Fireman for Springfield, I grew up with my cousins. I don't want to see a beautiful countryside littered with new development, either homes or commercial.
The smell of tobacco smoking in the barns is a welcome home scent. The fields of corn , I can hear my son singing corn , extending the word and making a game of ending the word at the end of the field or he ran out of breath one.
I live here because of the rural farm land and do not want to see it developed. Not do I want all the extra traffic.
We have plenty of traffic as it is . Not interested in subdivisions.
I live here to be away from a crowded city but the growth is destroying what makes Springfield special.
To keep Springfield rural.
We love the fields!
I live across the street and already have water issues
I am absolutely not for this happening. Moved to this area over 10 years ago from a overpopulated city for the privacy and country life and bringing this into this area will take away from this area completely and it’s charm.
I chose Robertson County for the rural nature it holds. To continue to subdivide farmland for housing takes away the beauty of the area. Additionally, it removes the opportunity to continue moving forward as the farming community Robertson County is known for. Dark fired tobacco and cattle are the biggest agricultural incomes here. Removing farmland for housing subdivisions reduces available farmland.
Keep our farmland as farmland. Build subdivisions in the city.
