Petition is addressed to: Sweet Tomatoes Executive Board

Souplantation was founded in San Diego in 1978. It was a beloved restaurant of people of all ages, incomes, and occupations. The people of the beautiful city of Escondido were especially fond of it and will regularly reminisce on the days when Souplantation was here in our community.

The people of the city of Escondido are formally petitioning Sweet Tomatoes to relaunch in Escondido, CA. Our community leaders, which include city council members, brokers, economic development planners, chamber of commerce members, restaurant owners, and many more, are ready to work with Sweet Tomatoes to make this possible.

Below you will see the many community members who support this effort and are ready to regularly patronize this establishment.

Thank you for your time.

Reason

Escondido is a beautiful city with spirited citizens. Our community is always looking for more options in terms of family entertainment, healthy food options, and dining experiences. It is common to hear our food community speak of Souplantation. We believe that the variables that caused Souplantation to close were not seen in Escondido, as this community was always supportive of the establishment. We have been taken away a treasured institution due to no fault of our own.

Thank you for your support, Christian Garcia from Escondido, ca.
